Technology and Tools to Boost Up Your Real Estate Dealings

The real estate world has seen a dip in the dealings be it leasing, buying or selling, especially in the recent times. In today’s tough economic times, making a new customer is challenging and so is retaining an existing one. Real estate agents have to be at their marketing best at all times and for it they need to be tech friendly.

You might be the best at what you do, but until you communicate it in the right way with the right tools, your efforts might be getting wasted. Technology and communication need to go hand in hand and failure in this issue can see you lag behind compared to your competitors. 3 Real Estate Tricks to Get You More Business

I’ve worked with thousands of people over the years by running three different businesses. My current profession is a commercial photographer, where I get the pleasure of hanging out with real estate agents and business professionals most days. I’m one of those individuals who observe others. Their actions, their reactions, their genetics and their nature and the stuff that makes us tick. I have a vested interest in discovering the character of people. It’s actually so I can connect better with myself.

Real estate agents have much to benefit from in great interactions. So, how do you start? How do you get people to look your way and pay attention, desiring to do business with you?
I have some ideas that could help –

1. Start with your advertising campaign – Does it reflect who you are, your style, and your personality? Do you incorporate a portrait in all of your ads, a symbol or something that sets you apart visually? If not, you’re missing out on advertising opportunities! If you are, is it a standard portrait or does it reveal some character?

One of the biggest mistakes is starting off with a non-existent or bad picture. Update ‘YOU’ all the time.

Yellow Letter Marketing

What are they and can you use them in your real estate investing business? If you are an investor, then you may already be familiar with yellow letters. In a nutshell, a yellow letter is just a handwritten letter used for marketing purposes that is composed on a yellow lined piece of notebook paper (aka a legal pad) and mailed to prospective sellers.

If you frequent many on-line investor resources such as forum threads, blog posts or coaches, you will probably find mention of yellow letters. You can even find businesses that specialize in providing these letters. Basically, the letter is much like a solicitation letter showing interest in the property and having a call-to-action (CTA) for a seller.

Direct Mail And Frequency

Direct mail can be an extremely effective medium for marketing. Despite rising postage costs, direct mail continues to be a top method that marketers utilize to get in front of the customer. There is no real magic secret to mailing out. Some marketers will say that repetition is key while others may suggest spacing out the mailings and sending them out every six months or so. According to the Direct Marketing Association (DMA) 2015 Statistical Fact Book, the average

Estate & Letting Agent Leaflet Marketing Formula

Do you work for, or own your own estate or letting agency? Are you looking to increase local brand awareness? Are you targeting more prospective buyers, vendors, tenants and landlords? If you answered yes to the above then please read on to learn a specific formula used for many estate and letting agencies, which is proven to give very strong response rates.

Why they don’t work

A flyer is not intended to be a brochure that explains everything about your business, nor does it necessarily need to emphasise every service you offer. As such don’t overload your flyer with loads of text about every service you do – it will overwhelm the receiver. Also, a really dull image of a house won’t generally entice anyone to consider moving, so choose images carefully. No call to action means no one will call! People don’t respond to information, they need to be given a reason to respond, and to do so promptly. Finally, people don’t usually respond on first view, therefore, giving up after one distribution will not allow the campaign to really take off.

The keys to creating a great flyer design

1. Bold headline. Have a bold headline in place so that the
